Big things are Happening in 2025!
C.C. Urie is officially self-publishing!
All throughout 2024, she sent submissions to agents and publishers. Unfortunately, even though everyone enjoyed her books, they were too radical to be signed. After a time of prayer and reflection, she decided that self-publishing was the direction God was leading her in. It was an answer to prayer, but now she has a lot to do with less time to do it in.
Self-publishing involves hiring an editor, a formatter, a cover designer, narrators for audiobooks, and an artist for character art. Because of this, C.C. will be studying how to run a successful Kickstarter as she preps her books for publishing. She's going to need all the help and prayers she can get during this time.

Romance is something that C.C. Urie can't live without...at least when it comes to what she reads. It's no secret that all of her books released so far have a romantic subplot, but in these upcoming books we will get to see all the stupid-smile-heart-melting romance that C.C. adores. She takes popular tropes and storylines that many Christian readers might not come across, and adds in a heavy dose of faith. Not much has been shared about this series since it wasn't priorly released, but here's what we do know:
- This series will be a Contemporary Romance
- Faith will be a major theme throughout each book
- Both this series and its spinoff will have 4 books (8 books total!)
- Redemption will also be a major theme in the books so they might not be suitable for younger readers (16+)
- The query process for the first book has started
- Only the first book of the series is written so far
Before C.C. Urie became C.C. Urie, she had out other books. Due to certain life events, those books were pulled from production and she instead focused on the Divine Courage Trilogy. Now that the trilogy is almost over, she can focus on her true passion again. Fantasy has always been close to this author's heart, and her writing is no different. The series in question is yet to be announced, but here is the information we have so far:
- The fantasy series will contain 9 books
- The series is being heavily revised
- The query process will be starting soon (meaning the book will be sent out to prospective publishers)
- These books are ALL faith based and will have major Christian themes in them
- C.C. Urie shows the grittier side of Christianity in these books so they may not be suitable for younger readers (16+)
